Gravity-Feed Airbrush (Cutaway)
The airbrush looks like precision plumbing, which is exactly why it scares new builders. It is really five simple parts in a line: air comes in at the valve, paint falls in from the cup, the trigger meters both, and the needle-in-nozzle pair turns them into a controllable mist.

- 01NozzleØ0.35 mm
- The tip paint sprays through; smaller bores draw finer lines but demand thinner paint. The 0.3–0.35 mm band is the do-everything default for kits and miniatures.

- 02Nozzle Cap & Crownprotects tip
- The threaded caps around the nozzle shape the airflow and shield the fragile needle tip. A crown cap's cutouts let you see the tip — and make tip-dry easier to wipe away.
- 03Gravity Cup7 ml, fixed
- Paint sits on top and falls into the body by gravity — no suction needed, so the brush atomizes well at low, detail-friendly pressures. Mix and thin your paint right in the cup.
- 04Triggerdual-action
- Press down for air, pull back for paint — two axes on one finger. Air first, then paint, then release in reverse: that ritual is what prevents spatter at every stroke's start and end.
- 05Needle0.35 mm taper
- A polished taper that slides back inside the nozzle as you pull the trigger, opening paint flow. Its tip is the most delicate part you own — it bends if you look at it wrong during cleaning.
- 06Needle Chuck & Handlehand-tight only
- The tail assembly that clamps the needle in place; unscrew the handle to slide the needle out for cleaning. Hand-tight is correct — tools strip these threads.

- 07Air Valve1/8" BSP fitting
- Where the hose connects and where trigger-down opens airflow. If air hisses with the trigger untouched, this valve's o-ring or spring is your suspect.
