In practice, that suits someone who already owns an air supply: the listing is silent on a compressor or hose. What to check: which nozzles are in the box. The title says 0.28mm and 0.45mm; a bullet also mentions 0.6mm as an interchangeable size, and the listing does not say it is included.

What to check before you buy

1. Contents lists. A kit and a single brush are different purchases: the Master listing includes three airbrushes, a compressor and paint, while the Harder & Steenbeck listing describes one airbrush, its nozzles and two cups. Compare what is in the box, not the headline.
2. Air supply. Of the airbrush listings here, only the Master kit states a compressor in the box. The Harder & Steenbeck listing does not mention one, and the Smart Jet Pro is a compressor, not an airbrush.
3. Fit and match. The 3M listing is size Large, and its cartridge has to suit what you spray. For every product, confirm that the title, brand and size on the page still match the product described here before you check out.

What to skip

• Sets you cannot read. A set whose listing does not itemize what is inside is a reason to wait for a contents list, not to guess.
